You can now sync your BMC events directly to your phone's calendar. No more checking the website to see what's coming up. Your hikes, bike tours, and other adventures show up right next to your other appointments.

With the last Hike-n-Canoe event in June we silently introduced multi-sport events to the website. This means that a single event can now be split up into multiple segments, depicting different spots.

September 2022 we started with paid special events, in 2023 we added PayPal as a payment gateway to automate things and make the experience more user friendly and more manageable on our end.

Over the past months a lot of time and effort has been put into building a achievement badge system for the Bayreuth Mountain Club. It is another great step in the gamification of the Bayreuth Mountain Club. We strive to make being outside and active more fun.

During our hikes we always track statistics like distance, temperature, elevation and much much more. All of these statistics you can see in your stats dashboard.

[Update] Small website tweaks
Today we made a few small tweaks to the website. Photos of events are now directly available when clicking on any previous event. You don't need to go into media anymore or search through the 'Previous event here'.
We can hike again!
Great news! In the yesterdays update the Bavarian state announced that it is allowed to meetup with up to 10 people in public spaces. So that means we can start hiking again!
