The year 2024 in review
Last January we turned 6 years old! In our 6th year we expanded the website with new features, tried new types of events and even had a zombie infection (virtual) ravage during our hikes!

We got a new Walk Though video. This time from our Plankenfels route. A route which we've only done once because it's not easily reachable by public transport. But now, for you, enjoy the route in video form while it was beautiful weather!

The year 2023 in review
2023 was a great year for the Bayreuth Mountain Club! This year was a year of many firsts and where the Mountain Club grew to something bigger.

While the forest was still covered in the darkness of the longest night of the year we set off in Fleckl, at the foot of the Ochsenkopf (1024m), to get to see the first sunrays of the longer getting days. Check out the video I shot during this majestic sunrise hike.
