For those of you who still remember the beginnings of the Bayreuth Mountain Club might even remember co-founder Girish. He has moved on since then so Sweden and has founded another Mountain Club in Stockholm.
This weekend I got the chance to visit him and go on a nice hike near Stockholm with him and a nice mixed group of nature enthusiasts like we have in Bayreuth.
Thanks G for showing me your homeplace. A beautiful country in many ways and thanks to all the nice new people I got to meet and have awesome conversations with.
One thing I noticed while in Sweden is that, the in Germany much dreaded Corona pandemic doesn't seem to interest anyone in Sweden. It's like going back to a time before wearing masks and social distancing. It was a day like I used to know in the BC (before corona) times.
