Wrap Up
On Saturday March 15th a group of 17 set out from the Hohenstadt train station. We encountered hundreds meters of ascent, lamas, geocaches, an old world war 2 factory in a mountain, a bat, (probably) potable water from a pipe, a cave, some beautiful viewpoints and, as the route name states, a hollow rock!
So to call this route, and this hike a success would be an understatement! We will definitely come back more often to this route (perhaps slightly modified to omit the last few km through the forest) to bask in its beautiful views.
Thanks everyone for joining this great hike and making it enjoyable with the many conversations, be it about cash vs. cashless society, for how much money we'd go to prison or the heated key lime pie vs. key lime cheesecake debate, there never was a dull moment. Muchas Gracias!
