Wrap Up
On Saturday @mirna went out solo to hide 14 boxes in the Bayreuth Blueberry Forest.

On Sunday, we assembled a group of 11 eager participants, dividing them into teams and equipping each with a paper map and a list of coordinates. Their mission was simple on the surface: locate as many boxes as possible within 2.5 hours. However, the actual task proved to be more demanding. The boxes were artfully concealed, sometimes offering quite the challenge. But this only heightened the thrill of the hunt!
By the conclusion, all teams returned within the designated timeframe, although a few decided to stretch their time by an extra 10-15 minutes, all in the pursuit of just one more elusive box.

Contrary to forecasts, the weather played in our favor, gracing us with mostly sunny skies. This made our jaunt through the forest, searching among autumn leaves and towering trees, all the more delightful.

As we tallied up the scores, @andrew delighted everyone with a special treat - a rich Russian coffee, uplifting both our energy levels and spirits.
When all the cards were scanned and points tabulated, one team stood out from the rest. Team Cameraman, comprising Liam & Viktoria, emerged as the clear winners. Their victory was attributed to Liam's methodical approach to pinpointing the boxes using the coordinates and Viktoria's unwavering determination. Kudos to them both! We look forward to seeing them in a future night orienteering event, where they can utilize their prize, headlights to shine their way.

As always, our heartfelt thanks go out to every participant. Your enthusiasm makes these events possible. It was also a pleasure to welcome several newcomers. Until we meet again, enjoy the photo memories from this event below!
